Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager


Up to £40k plus attractive benefits


Birmingham with occasional travel to London



Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager required to join a growing business as part of a large wider group delivering mechanical, electrical and ventilation maintenance and install projects across the UK. Based from Birmingham, this is an exciting opportunity to join a company who really cares about their employees and their success. The newly formed division is fully supported by group.


We are looking for someone who is dynamic and understands that working for a new business requires the ability to turn your hand to everything and get stuck in. We need someone with a positive attitude who has vision and wants to be part of a team who are forming and shaping the company and are excited by this opportunity.


You will ideally have managed engineers before and will have a team of schedulers and admin staff plus a Quality Manager reporting into you. You will manage this team and the client management.



You will have the following skills and experience:


* Implementing systems and processes to include


o Scoping service level agreements and managing tenders for subcontractor services


o Negotiating costs and service


o Managing the subcontractors


o Auditing the services to ensure agreed service levels and quality is being met


o Managing the Operations Process end to end and implementing continuous improvement


* Reporting to the board


* Great attitude and man management skills and able to lead and develop a long standing, successful team who are there for the journey

This role offers a salary of up to £40k plus attractive benefits and a travel allowance.
