Liverpool John Moores University are embarking on a major change programme within their Estate and Facilities Management Department. The newly established Campus Services Directorate will manage all University buildings, facilities, open spaces, cleaning, Security, and the University fleet.


Campus Services will particularly focus on ‘front of house’ delivery to internal and external stakeholders, and as such connects on a daily basis with students, staff, and guests. It is therefore essential all staff are ‘customer oriented’, as they are often the first contact for the University. A ‘can do’ attitude, combined with outstanding service will be a key feature of this Directorate.


Working alongside a senior Leadership Team of four, the Director will be expected to lead on the strategic and operational aspects of all services in the Campus Services Directorate. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate of Estate and Facilities Management both internally and externally to the University.


This is a significant leadership opportunity, and for the right person will offer an opportunity to shape a new Department, and contribute to the broader direction of the University. Applicants are expected to have a first degree, and a Master’s degree or professional qualification within a subject area relevant to Estates and Facilities Management.
