Our Engineering Excellence Lead is a brand new position designed to ensure the building management solutions we offer our clients are united, coherent and suitable for their business needs.
Over the past 10 years we've acquired numerous BMS packages whilst developing our own solution to sit on top of those. This strategy has meant we've come on in leaps and bounds, becoming a market leader in a short time frame and now boasting some of the largest and highest-profile BMS contracts in the UK. To allow of continued expansion we're now looking to establish concrete best practise, integrating everything we've learnt so far and incorporating where we want our building controls solution to go in the future.
As Engineering Excellence Lead you'll work closely with our engineering, operational and software development teams to guide the design, implementation, commissioning and servicing of our software and hardware applications. They're complex so we know this role won't be a walk in the park but you will have a really interesting, multi-dimensional position with a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to shape the way a global organisation implements world-leading technology - we think that's worth the challenge.
In your new role you'll have access to and will collaborate with every department within our building controls division; working with the engineers on the ground, developers writing the code, sales people interacting with clients and the end user themselves to fine tune our solutions and make sure we continue to be the organisation others look up to.
You will be based from home with the Engineering Excellence Lead role but will travel to our offices around the UK and occasionally meet with our clients too.
All About You
If you've got a great working knowledge of the back end of BMS controls, whether that's as an Application Engineer, Engineering Manager or Commissioning Engineer with some serious programming skills and the passion to take this role on we'd love to hear from you.
As you can probably guess the Engineering Excellence Lead role requires a detailed knowledge of building management system controls and programming so you're going to need to know your stuff. We can be flexible on the application so if you're a Trend tyrant, swish at Siemens or a trickster on Tridium that's brilliant, we'd also love a chat if you deal with more legacy systems like TAC, Andover Continuum or Satchwell.
Whilst this role won't have any people management responsibilities you will get the opportunity to liaise with a range of departments, commercial and technical specialists so to get the most out of this Engineering Excellence Lead role you'll be the kind of person who enjoys that collaborative approach.
Owing to the nature of the role, you'll be travelling to our offices around the UK, a full UK driving license is needed. Company car will be provided.
