Mobile Mechanical Engineer London and home Counties
£33k to £36k
I am currently recruiting for a mechanically biased mobile maintenance engineer to cover the Central London and M25 area. My client is a rapidly expanding company operating in the building services industry and this position has come around due to company expansion and wishing to take this work in-house.
The role involves carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks, responding to reactive breakdowns, fault finding and any necessary repairs on call outs to large multi million pound residential buildings, luxury hotels and commercial offices. Ideally you will be an apprenticeship trained and experienced multi skilled engineer with a minimum of City and Guilds certification and previous hands on knowledge of carrying out the maintenance and repairs to AHU's, pumps, perimeter heating, caloriifiers, fan coil units etc. You must also have experience of the following: All aspects of steel pipe installation and repair, use of manual and electric threading machines, installation and repairs to copper pipe, soldering, crimping, replacement of radiator valves, screwed and compression. You should also have knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems, of drainage, plastic, cast iron pipework etc. The is also a requirement for you to carryout safe electrical isolation of pumps and other associated boiler plant equipment.
