HVAC Manager
Our client is one of the leading Facilities Management companies in their area with an outstanding reputation in delivering expert and quality services to existing and new clients. They offer services to a wide range of sectors including Electrical, A/C & Refrigeration, Heating, FM, and Fire & Security across the UK.
There is now a fantastic opportunity to join their established team based in Hull as a HVAC Manager. Vital to this role will be to work alongside the Air Conditioning install team to deliver expert and quality to their existing and new customers as well as providing leadership, advice and technical expertise.
The ideal HVAC Manager will have the ability to carry out:
- The programming of servicing, installations, repairs.
- Completion of quality audits
- Overseeing a team of field-based engineers
- Completion of tender returns and designs
- Liaise with Architects and consultants
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships with current customers and forging opportunities with new customers.
Requirements for the HVAC Manager role are:
- Minimum 10 Years' experience within mechanical contracting / service industry.
- Minimum FGAS qualified and NVQ or City & Guilds trained. HNC in mechanical engineering preferred but not essential
- Proficient in specifying and installation methods of HVAC systems across a range of manufacturers.
- Experience in managing office and site-based teams.
- Proven track record of delivering medium - large scale projects efficiently, on time and on budget.
- Proficient in the use of common IT software
- Excellent people management skills
- Full UK driving license
