Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a leading property consultancy in their search for an experienced Facilities Manager for a 12 month Fixed Term contract. The successful candidate will take responsible for a mixed-use portfolio across Kent and Essex, with a key site based in Dartford.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of this portfolio including; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. You will also be responsible for directly managing and developing an Assistant Facilities Manager. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You must have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage the onsite contractors is essential, as is the ability to ensure EH&S compliance. The ideal candidate will be a BIFM member with either an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification and will have worked within a managing agent environment, ideally with a proven service charge budget background.
Driving licence is essential for this role.
