Role: SHEQ Advisor
Sector: Construction / Social Housing
Location: Leeds
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + car / allowance + excellent benefits package
I am working with an award winning housing maintenance / social housing contractor who work throughtout the UK, due to significant growth within the last year the organisation have the capacity for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join their Health & Safety team in Leeds working on a number of housing maintenance and decoration schemes. My client are looking for someone with at least 1 - 3 years’ experience working in a similar position where they were responsible for developing a company's Health and Safety initiative.
The Ideal candidate will hold a Health and Safety qualification ideally a NEBOSH Construction certificate or NEBOSH General and have some experience in the construction sector, the ability to show evidence of monitoring, reviewing, preparing and publishing policies and procedures that apply in multi-site operations. In addition evidence of the use of continuous improvement would be desirable.
The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written and strong negotiation skills to ensure that all sites develop their Health and Safety compliance culture in a consistent manner. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION YOU MUST BE BASED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
