Facilities Project Manager - Remedial works
Manchester
Interim 100 days Approx
£200 - £250 per day.
Hexagon FM are delighted to be commissioned to find a Facilities Project Manager to scope and manage a remedial project for a leading Manchester University to prepare their campus for the new intake of students in September and for the various events which are due to be held over the summer.
We are looking for someone who can lead this project by planning out the strategy for delivery and then managing and delivering the projects operationally for the duration of the project which they anticipate at approximately 100 days.
You will have previous experience of managing cyclical maintenance which will include painting and decorating, high level cleans, façade cleaning, deep cleans such as carpets and ventilation, graffiti removal, windows internal and external and grounds maintenance to include planting and repurposing the space.
This is an exciting project to be completed in a limited amount of time. You will need to be used to:
* Working at pace, whilst maintaining "business as usual" and with excellent communication skills to liaise with the various faculties to minimise disruption across the campus.
* Produce project plans, scope of works, reports, action plans and costing documents, showing the benefits. You will then be responsible for procuring and managing the services to ensure they dovetail into your internal offering. Whilst keeping other stakeholders abreast of the progress with regular project reports.
* Seasoned project manager who is used to managing multiple small projects at any one time, ideally in an educational setting.
* Manage the projects to time, budget and quality with minimum disruption delivering a campus to be proud of.
