A large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint a senior Estates and Facilities professional to complete building conditions surveys within a complex NHS Estate.

Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion of building condition surveys within a complex healthcare estate, which will include patients accommodation, residential accommodation, office accommodation in total circa 30 properties in total;
- The condition surveys will be made up of responsive repairs, voids management, planned maintenance, cyclical maintenance, stock condition surveys, overview non specialist of Health & Safety compliance;
- Have an oversight of related duties to monitoring contractors and repair works, also carry out pre-works inspections and manage asset management investment programmes related;
- Ensure that the projects comply with CDM requirements and inspect void properties to achieve set standards to budget, meeting deadlines for completions;
- Agree final account and issue relevant paperwork at the end of the periods set;
- Project management of building contractors, agree scope of works, and improve RAMs.
A successful candidate will have:
- Candidate will be qualified to HNC, HND or Degree Level in Building Construction or equivalent;
- You must have knowledge of NHS Estates contracts and related statutory repair, maintenance and health and safety responsibilities including fire risk and legionella;
- You will need to hold a driving license and have access to a car for this role due to inter site travel from location to location.
