Site Manager - Social Housing (Cyclical Dec's) - North London - Up to £40k Basic Plus Package.
My client a large social housing maintenance contractor are currently looking to recruit an experienced site manager to be based in the North London area. My client is looking for a site manager to work on a long term decent homes framework consisting of cyclical decorations. The role will be to manage subcontracted works across a range of lifecycle and cyclical works to include both internals and externals work the day to day running of all site activities whilst making sure the program, Health and Safety and Quality Control are upheld to the highest of standards at all times.
Duties:
- Ensuring on site Health and Safety is adhered to
- Use of PPE
- Site Inductions
- Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments
- Work Permits
- In house audits / inspections
- Liaising with the client to maintain a strong working relationship and close liaison with the tenants to ensure customer satisfaction
- Management of direct labour & sub-contractors
- Leading a workforce of direct & indirect operatives through the delivery of works
Requirements:
- Site management experience working on cyclical/maintenance projects or housing refurbishments
- Awareness of the various processes involved in running the Contract and the ability to ensure that they comply with all internal and external policies and procedures.
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to competently operate MS office
