Our client is a highly successful, industry leading mechanical and electrical engineering specialist that designs, builds and maintains critical facilities ranging from Control Rooms in Nuclear Power Stations to Data Centres.
They are recognised as being at the forefront of critical engineering as well as providing excellent career progression, training and development.
The Role
Due to the growth of one such Data Centre in North Middlesex (more data halls, therefore more power and cooling infrastructure), they now seek a number of shift engineers to support the operation and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure within.
Working on a continental shift pattern, applicants will carry out the maintenance of mechanical and electrical infrastructure as well as projects, overseeing subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, abiding to standard operational procedures (SOP's) and is of an acceptably high standard.
The Candidate
Our client is interested in engineers who have worked in this area previously, or who have transferrable skills from industries such as;
The Royal Navy
Pharmaceutical
FMCG
Hospitals
Power Generation
