Fabric Technician
We are currently recruiting for leading facilities provider to help provide a competent multi skilled fabric technician to work within a commercial site in the City of London.
The Fabric Technician must be competent in basic plumbing duties (taps, leaks, sanitary ware) , the repairs of locks and doors, basic mechanical and electrical duties that arise, floor box moving, painting and decorating, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing (to name a few).
The role of the facilities fabric engineer is to assist with the engineers around the site and work alone whilst maintaining, testing and repairing various plant, equipment and appliances dotted around the different environments that the centre consists of.
Summary of duties:
- Carry out routine maintenance of fabric duties around the site
- Carry out reactive maintenance tasks to the multiple different environments that the site consists of.
- Be comfortable working alongside sub-contractors who are working on the plant and equipment.
- Provide help and assistance to other members of the Maintenance and housekeeping teams as and when required.
- Take part in the regular weekly fire system testing
- Take part in regular emergency lighting testing

Qualifications:
Painting Decorating, Carpentry or Plumbing qualifications
