£30,000 - £38,000 + 19 shift days holiday + Pension + Health care
This prestigious client who is very reputable within the HVAC industry is currently recruiting for the position of a mechanical Engineer to take care of a building based with in the central area of London, Close to the Thames. The ideal engineer would need to have 5 years or more experience working on both electrical and mechanical systems also Energetic and eager to get the job done. The agreed shift pattern will be 4 on 4 off days only. The position has become available due to a reschedule of the maintenance team.
Tasks will include Proactive maintenance of the plant during the days, servicing of the plant room and breakdowns that may occur on site will include scheduled preventive maintenance, of the plant for instance the clearing of the filters of AHUs, FCUs, Cooling towers, Generator testing, Emergency lighting testing and fire alarm testing Etc. The engineering team is quite tightly knitted so there is a family feel to the business so the successful engineer should be able to turn their hand to any sort of job that may arise, e.g. Light fabric repairs, Plumbing, fixing locks and other general maintenance.
Desired qualifications would be the 17th Edition, C&G in Mechanical engineering, Plumbing experience in commercial buildings and ideally mechanically Apprenticeship trained, however it is not essential as training is an option for our engineers to keep them technically prepared.
Based in the cooperate district of London the ideal candidate must able to adapt to all clients and staff they may come across on a day to day and be presentable so they can show around engineers and site.
