Beach Baker is currently working with a leading UK property consultancy to recruit a Building Manager for a premium 175,000 square foot multi-tenanted office property in Glasgow's financial district.
The Building Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the site including tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives.
The successful candidate should hold excellent knowledge of the budget process with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage tenant and client relationships. Previous experience working for a managing agent is desirable, and candidates must have a proven track record in managing hard and soft services with contract management skills. BIFM membership and an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification are preferred.
