Service Charge Accountant

My client is an established and reliable independent Managing Agent in Southampton that specialises in a number of services including block management. Due to increased demand, they are now looking to add an additional Service Charge Accountant to the team to support them on a range of tasks including setting service charge accounts, collecting monies and preparing year end accounts.
Main Responsibilities
* Providing Aged Debtor Reports, VAT Summary Reports, Expenditure vs. Budget Reports
* Carrying out a high volume of daily tasks in relation to the client company accounts, service charge demands liaising with clients/lessees chasing payments etc.
* Directing both internal and external annual audits, preparing year end accounts and managing all accounts preparation processes.
* Collaborating with internal teams i.e. Property Managers to review and action issues with client accounts before the year end accounts are finalised.
* Providing all internal teams with timely accounting snapshots as and when required, often then used to define budgets.
