The role of Global Facilities Business Manager
You will provide senior management support in all aspects of the Facilities Management Client Unit (FMCU). As contract owner for the Technical Works Supervisor (TWS) and the Global Maintenance Service Level Agreement with FCO Services, you will ensure these two multimillion pound contracts are run efficiently and effectively. You will also review and update our property standards and health and safety guidance to overseas offices, including all relevant fire safety policy changes and associated material testing. You will be required to work collaboratively with other government departments to resolve health and safety compliance issues and ensure clarity and continuity. We would also like you to provide expert advice and deal with strategic initiatives from time to time. You may occasionally be required to visit overseas offices.
About you
You need to have obtained or be working towards BIFM level 4 and have a thorough knowledge of facilities management products and services, with Senior Practitioner level in Government Property Profession standards, as well as contract management experience. We would like to see examples of where you have interpreted and analysed data to inform decision making and where you have managed a quality service.
