The company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a large multi-channel Franchise operator for a hands-on project manager.
The group is currently making unprecedented investment in network development and is committed to developing 10 additional sites within the next 3 years and longer term will be targeting a network store count in excess of 100 stores, across multi-franchise brands.
The role:
The role would suit someone who has a track record in managing busy projects and can demonstrate the requisite knowledge and training to be successful in this role.
You will support this rapid expansion; the group will require an ambitious and highly skilled project manager to oversee the new store builds.
Responsibilities and Duties
- · Ensuring new store build and fit outs are completed on time and within budget
- · That the objectives of the store fit out plan are being met and that everyone is doing their job properly
- · You will be working on your own initiative, having high level meetings with the Managing Director, Lead Architects, Designers, Builders, Head Contractors ensuring Brand Design Standards and Quality Control Standards met, Other Key Stakeholders
- · Agreeing project objectives
- · Risk assessments undertaken
- · Organising various professional people, tradesmen from all disciplines, work plan, Cost and financial control.
- · You will need to scrutinise detailed store fit out tenders to ensure that they are cost competitive, negotiating discounts with industry suppliers, controlling retentions etc
- · Advising various stakeholders as to the progress of the store builds, drafting detailed reports to the Director, other major stakeholders
- · Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
- · Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
- · Ensuring final snagging is dealt with by contractors
