About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, supporting a portfolio of commercial properties across the M25 corridor.

This role offers long-term stability, a competitive salary, and a company vehicle, along with the opportunity to work on complex drainage systems across a diverse range of commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and survey commercial drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, structural defects, and performance issues.
  • Carry out drainage installations, repairs, and both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
  • Ensure drainage systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant industry standards and statutory regulations.
  • Produce clear technical reports, specifications, and recommendations for remedial works and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with facilities managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver projects on time and to commercial standards.
  • Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimise flooding risk, water ingress, and operational disruption.
  • Apply sustainable drainage solutions where appropriate to support environmental and ESG objectives.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety legislation, RAMS, and site-specific compliance requirements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial drainage engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong technical understanding of drainage systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites while effectively managing workload and priorities.
  • Professional communication skills with a client-focused approach when liaising with stakeholders and site teams.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
What We Offer
  • Long-term career opportunities within a supportive and growing organisation.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Company vehicle provided.
  • Exposure to a varied portfolio of commercial projects, supporting ongoing professional and technical development.
