We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at a static site in Maidenhead. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and motivated engineer looking to contribute to a high-performing facilities team while progressing their career.
Role Overview
As a key member of the on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across the site.
This role combines hands-on technical delivery with the opportunity to demonstrate leadership capability, supporting the wider team while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Compliance
Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities to maximise system reliability and asset performance.
Carry out fault finding, testing, and repairs across electrical distribution systems and associated plant.
Conduct emergency lighting inspections and fire alarm testing in line with statutory compliance requirements.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.
HVAC & Building Services Support
Maintain and support FCUs, AHUs, and associated HVAC systems.
Assist with general building services maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.
Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance tasks, minimising disruption to site activities.
Teamwork & Site Standards
Supervise and support a small team where required, demonstrating leadership and accountability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and professionally.
Engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, delivering high standards of customer service.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Experience & Skills
Proven experience in electrical engineering within the Facilities Management sector.
Strong technical knowledge of building services and electrical systems.
Ability to supervise and guide a small team.
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
Proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering consistently high standards.
