Role Overview
As a Data Centre / Critical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services across electrical and associated building systems. Working as part of a professional engineering team, you will help ensure site resilience, compliance, and uptime in a technically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Technical Delivery
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in accordance with maintenance schedules.
Deliver all maintenance activities to a high technical and professional standard.
Supervise subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient completion of works.
Provide first-line out-of-hours call-out support where required.
Reporting & Compliance
Produce accurate technical reports and documentation in line with company procedures.
Use company systems to ensure contractual, statutory, and compliance obligations are met.
Escalate major site issues or incidents promptly to management.
Assist management with quotations for remedial or additional works by providing technical input.
Participate in risk assessments, audits, and incident reporting processes.
Communication & Professional Standards
Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, clients, and stakeholders.
Attend team meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required.
Submit weekly timesheets accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Represent the company professionally at all times.
Health, Safety & Environmental
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation and company policies.
Handle, store, and use materials and equipment in accordance with H&S and environmental standards.
Promote a proactive safety culture within all site activities.
Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by line management in support of operational requirements.
Essential Requirements
Level 2 & Level 3 Electrical Qualifications.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
HVAP / LVAP Authorisation.
