Join a forward-thinking engineering team and work with cutting-edge systems in mission-critical environments. Our client is seeking a technically skilled Shift Engineer to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain low & medium voltage electrical systems, mechanical plant, HVAC, UPS, and generators.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults, supporting 100% system uptime.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Authorised high/low voltage switching and safe system operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all works meet compliance and safety standards.
- Use BMS, PMS, and CMS systems for monitoring and reporting.
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience in critical facilities, data centres, or high-pressure environments.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and building safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as NCC, REC, or equivalent desirable.
- Exposure to critical infrastructure and smart systems
