Assistant Technical Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Technical Manager to support our team in overseeing the technical aspects of our clients PFI projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Asset Manager to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimisation of infrastructure assets throughout their lifecycle.

Duties Include:
- Assist in managing the technical performance of PFI projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of infrastructure assets, assisting in identifying maintenance needs, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies to enhance the resilience, reliability, and sustainability of infrastructure assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to deliver effective asset management solutions and address technical issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, assisting in ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, building surveying or related field. Relevant certifications or professional qualifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer) desirable.
- Prior experience in a technical role within the infrastructure or construction industry, with exposure to PFI projects preferred.
- Solid understanding of asset management principles, practices, and methodologies, including asset lifecycle management and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with relevant technical standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to infrastructure assets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
